The National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (NGC) has published its 2020 Annual Report, themed ‘Embracing Opportunity, Creating Value’.
In a nod to the disruption of the year 2020, the format of this publication departs from NGC’s traditional Annual Reports, with a disaggregated narrative structure that offers a closer look at strategic business areas and achievements.
Despite posting a loss for the year 2020 due to accounting provisions for exceptional items, The NGC Group had several positive takeaways from 2020. Through an AMCHAM- awarded business continuity effort, The Group not only delivered on all service obligations despite pandemic restrictions, but managed to return a measure of stability to the local industry, expand its portfolio of investments and partnerships and intensify its focus on clean energy and sustainability.
