The National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (NGC) will be undertaking maintenance works on a section of its 24-inch diameter subsea natural gas pipeline located in the Guayaguayare Bay, off the Port of Galeota.
This activity will include, but will not be limited to, the transportation of a cofferdam to the Port of Galeota via Isthmus Road, and subsequent installation at the repair site. The cofferdam will be transported by trucks from Premier Engineering Services Limited’s laydown yard on Isthmus Road to the Port of Galeota. The repair site is located approximately 50 metres from the Port of Galeota in Guayaguayare Bay. Navigational warnings have also been issued.
