On 24th July, 1976, Hasely Joaquim ‘Raj Paul’ Crawford, TC placed Trinidad and Tobago on the world’s athletic radar. Sprinting 100m in 10.06 seconds, Hasely became the fastest man alive, and brought home our nation’s first Olympic Gold Medal.
