Chairman of The National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (NGC) and its group of companies, Mr. Conrad Enill, has expressed, shock, and sadness, on the news of the untimely passing of Minister of Energy and Energy Industries, Senator the Honourable Franklin Khan.
“I, as well as all the Directors, Presidents and Staff of the Companies in the Group, am in disbelief at the news that we received today. The loss to the energy sector, the oil and gas industry and of course, Trinidad and Tobago, is immense.”
Mr. Enill remarked that Minister Khan was committed to seeing through, the challenges currently being experienced in the energy sector of Trinidad and Tobago. “He provided steadfast leadership through past and present challenges in the industry and his unwavering commitment to the sector and the country was immeasurable. On behalf of our Directors, Management and 900+ staff members of the group, we extend our deepest and heartfelt sympathies to his family, friends and ministerial colleagues and will keep them in our thoughts and prayers.”
