This is to advise that effective Wednesday 18th March 2020, The National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (NGC) has implemented a Work from Home arrangement for non-essential employees for a period of fourteen (14) days. This period should end on March 31st 2020.
The following arrangements have been put in place to ensure business continuity:
- Critical technical services related to NGC’s control room, gas supply reliability for power generation, pet chem and manufacturing sectors and pipeline-related functions will remain operational to maintain our core business operations and customer obligations.
- Supply Chain Management which includes procurement and goods delivery will continue operations to facilitate regular and emergency matters that may arise; as well as the receipt of tenders etc.
- Security officers at all our locations will be available 24-7 to interact with the public and provide guidance where necessary, either via telephone system or in person calls.
- Our 800-4GAS number remains available 24 hours to report any emergencies.
These measures are in keeping with NGC’s recognition that in employing measures to manage the spread of the CoViD-19 virus, we have an obligation to ensure that the wider national community is least impacted.
