The NGC Group of Companies warmly congratulates Marina Salandy-Brown on being awarded Chile’s Silver Medal of Recognition for supporting the country’s diplomatic work and deepening connections between the Caribbean and Latin America.
The award, granted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Chile, is an acknowledgement of Marina’s appreciation for the history and culture of both Trinidad and Tobago and Chile. Presented by His Excellency Juan Aníbal Barría García, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Chile, the award celebrates her pioneering work with the NGC Bocas Lit Fest, through which she has helped carry regional literature beyond our borders and out to the wider world.
