The National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (NGC) and its subsidiaries are well on their way towards building a greener business and reducing the overall carbon footprint of the energy sector, having integrated sustainability and environmental, social and governance (ESG) metrics into their growth strategy.

This was one of the key messages delivered by Chairman Conrad Enill at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Trinidad and Tobago’s (ICATT’s) 12th Annual International Finance and Accounting Conference on November 18th.

Mr. Enill was asked to share The NGC Group experience in respect of the conference theme ‘Reset’. He gave an overview of The Group’s operations, and a snapshot of the evolving industry and associated challenges. He went on to explain The Group’s approach to managing business continuity during the pandemic, which was predicated largely on technology and digital tools.
