The National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (NGC) is proud to announce its platinum sponsorship of the 7th edition of the Commonwealth Youth Games (CYG, the Games), to be hosted in Trinidad and Tobago from August 4th to 11th, 2023.

NGC’s partnership as platinum sponsor with the CYG is an extension of the company’s longstanding commitment to develop sport in Trinidad and Tobago. The company is heavily invested in track and field, and has made significant contributions towards the development of other sporting disciplines, including cricket, basketball and cycling. Through its work with the National Association of Athletics Administrations of Trinidad and Tobago (NAAATT), NGC has been deeply involved in the discovery and training of local sporting talent, and a key partner on the journey to build and promote brand T&T as an athletics powerhouse.

Speaking at the media launch of the CYG 2023, Head Corporate Social Responsibility at NGC, Myles Lewis, shared the company’s hope for the Games: “NGC sees the Commonwealth Youth Games as an important catalyst for the sporting stars and leaders of tomorrow, contributing to the further development of youth sport throughout the Caribbean and the Commonwealth. We hope these games resonate not just in Trinidad and Tobago but throughout the Commonwealth and the world. This sponsorship is not just an investment for NGC. It is a signal of our dedication to our partners, our young people, our athletes, and our country.”
