Attention Residents of O’Meara Intersection and Environs
Notification of Natural Gas Flaring
The National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (NGC) will commence planned maintenance activities on its natural gas pipeline located at the O’Meara Intersection, Churchill Roosevelt Highway.
Works include, but will not be limited to the following:
- Flaring in a controlled manner via flare stack
Details of the planned activities are as follows:
Date: Monday 8th February 2024
Hours of Work: 6:00 am to 10:00 am
These works represent no danger to the public. NGC’s personnel will supervise all works, and these will be conducted in accordance with NGC’s Environment, Safety and Security Policies and Procedures, as well as all applicable codes and standards.
As part of our stringent safety protocols, the Trinidad and Tobago Fire Services (TTFS) will be on site to provide support during these operations.
