The National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (NGC) is keenly cognisant of the link between youth development and a sustainable future for country and planet. It has, for many years, invested in nurturing youth potential. On Saturday 19th November 2022, in demonstration of this commitment, NGC launched its ‘Inspire-2-Achieve’ or ‘I2A’ programme. I2A seeks to support more rounded development and open more diverse pathways for careers and entrepreneurship geared towards the ‘green’ and sustainable economies and communities of the future.
I2A is a flagship programme—holistic and future-focused—and will target youth within the NGC’s fenceline communities through the delivery of after-school (and weekend) skills training and education in the following Learning Tracks:
- Science Technology Research Engineering Arts and Math (STREAM)
- Sustainability
- Entrepreneurship
- Life Skills and Career Coaching
