On 6th October, 2023, The National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (NGC) received a report of an odour of natural gas detected at the Debe High School in Debe. Debe High School officials dismissed school as a matter of precaution.
NGC personnel were dispatched to the location to conduct assessments and at 11.30 am yesterday, after investigations, natural gas was not detected at the school or in its vicinity.
